Introduction

It is no secret to any trader that the steam servers often have issues when sending or accepting trade offers, and it is insanely frustrating to have to deal with these.
This guide will tell you how to defeat the ol' Please try again later, and what these errors mean.

If you get the classic "There was an error accepting this trade offer.
Please try again later", this error is because of an issue with your steam client.
A quick restart should solve the problem.

This error is caused when you are not logged into steam or your session has expired.
All this requires is a quick refresh and for you to log back in, and it will be fixed.
After refreshing, it should look something like this Cinque TerreCinque Terre

The trade actually went through, it just took longer than steam expected to process.
If you refresh the page, the trade will be no longer valid.

This is an issue with steam inventories being down.
There is no way you can solve this but just wait and check steamstat.
us to see the status of their servers.

This error actually applies in two situations.
If the person you are trading either has a full inventory (which is 1,000 in CS:GO, 2,000 max in TF2, or 1,000 in Dota 2), this error will show up.
When your inventory is full, you will only be able to trade items away, but if you trade for something above the limit, (i.
e.
you have 999 items and you trade for 600 more in a single trade offer) it will still accept it so technically the most amount of items a person can have is unlimited.
The other situation where error 15 applies to is when the person you are trading has a VAC ban or Game Ban in the specific game you are trying to trade with them in.
