Inferno Overview

Here we have an overview of the whole map.
The guide contains smokes for taking control of the respective sites A and B, aswell as two smokes for pushing into mid and second mid as CTs, a flash, an HE and two molotovs.
Edit: Now after some months into actual gameplay of the map in public matchmaking and even on professional LAN events I want to add to this collection of grenades.
All these smokes are found by myself and it took quite long in order to do so.
The new grenades I've found are actually solely smokes, 8 in fact.
I tried to limit these new additions to smokes that are actually useful and easy to recreate.
Cinque Terre

Banana Grenades

Here you see the spot in banana where you will have to stand.
For the smoke for "CT" at the B-Site, you have to walk into the corner in front of the wood stack in banana, align your crosshair (as it is shown in the picture) with the branch of the tree.
Then you have to left-click-throw.
Make sure you dont center your crosshair on the end of the branch, but slightly to the right (again, see picture for reference).
It will bounce off a roof and land perfectly in "CT": For the smoke to block "construction", stand in front of the wood stack as for the "CT"-Smoke.
Aim at the top of the metal fence (picture) and throw it with left click.
It will land behind the coffins: This is a smoke to easily gain access to the "BBQ-Area".
Place you crosshair at the middle of the branch that has a slight curve to it (picture above).
Once again left-click-throw and it will land on the ledge at "BBQ": For the HE and flash, you will have to go to this spot in banana, and move all the way to the corner.
The flash will blind all enemies in top banana and is usefull to take control of banana.
Center your crosshair on the corner of the roof (picture) and left-click-throw.
The result should look like this: For the last grenade of banana, we have an HE-Grenade that will land shortly in front of the corner at top banana and deals damage to potential AWP-Players, who try to peek into banana.
Just aim at the lower left corner of the balcony (picture, maybe hard to see) and left-click-throw: The next smoke is a new one and aids aggressive CTs in taking control of banana.
This smoke goes deep into banana and blocks the lower end of it, near the terrorists stairs.
To execute, simply walk over to the fountain on B site and position yourself into the outer corner of the pool until you're all the way in.
It will look something similar to this, only that the corner we're looking for is the south-west one (sorry for misleading picture): Once your position is correct, you turn around and aim at the roof.
You will see some dark lines at the edge of the roof and most importantly, you see these black pointy ends of these lines.
Move your crosshair to the one that is closest to the red building and align it so that it rests on the roofline: When you throw it, the result will look like this: The next smoke is probably the most convenient and most useful one, because it finally displays a solution to the problem of smoking top of banana at the car position without leaving the bombsite as a CT.
The execution is really simple, you just have to climb on top of the fountain, all the way to the top and walk to the very center of it, like so ([crosshair is now purple for visibility purposes] aim at the ground until it is in the middle of the fountain): For the throw itself, you will need to aim at the spot where the roof of the building you see there in the background meets the lowest hanging cable: If succesful, the smoke lands right between the two walls that mark the chokepoint near the car position without posing any gaps: Cinque TerreCinque TerreCinque TerreCinque TerreCinque TerreCinque TerreCinque TerreCinque TerreCinque TerreCinque TerreCinque TerreCinque TerreCinque TerreCinque TerreCinque TerreCinque TerreCinque TerreCinque TerreCinque TerreCinque Terre

Grenades for A-Site

Beginning with the "Arch-Smoke", you have to stand in second mid in the corner below second mid balcony, where the wall with the roses are.
This smoke can be a tad tricky: Aim your crosshair at the lower left corner of the white towel when it is swinging all the way to the left (picture).
Just left-click-throw and the smoke blocks "Arch" on A-Long perfectly: For the smoke to land in short, go into the same corner as before and look at the left corner of the roof.
Adjust it by slightly moving your crosshair to the left and left-click-throw.
It will look like this: Move to this specific corner in mid for the boiler smoke.
The smoke is quite simple, you stand still and aim at the left of the two chimneys and left-click-throw as usual.
The smoke bounces exactly into the boiler room and prevents vision from boiler: The next one is a smoke that allows to peek into pit/balcony on the A-Site.
In appartments, stand on the third tile from balcony and position yourself exactly on top of the right hand side of the tile next to the wall.
Aim at the pillar on the right wall (picture) and move your crosshair to the door frame.
Now let go of the smoke by using left-click.
It will stop on top of the cart on short and lets you peek comfortably into pit: The next grenade is a molotov to burn out the pit area next to graveyard.
Just stand in appartments at the door frame to balcony and move all the way into the corner, so that you can't be seen from short.
This particular one is good if you are stuck but want to jump into pit without being shot from it.
It can also be combined with the smoke from appartment (shown above).
The last grenade for the T-Side is a molotov that burns off the inner A-Site.
Align yourself with the wooden plan beneath the roof on short, then place your crosshair at the top right corner of the box on A-Site.
Now move it slightly to the left and throw it.
It will take care of any enemy hiding close inside of the bomb spot: The next smokes are new aswell and complete this list of A site smokes.
Because the balcony is such an important position for the CTs (as we all found out in the last three months), the Ts will have to deal with it or try to prevent the CTs from using it.
For the latter, this smoke should help.
To throw the smoke, move over to the north side of mid and position yourself in this way, aiming at the outer corner of these little stairs: Align your crosshair with the wooden beam's edge sticking out of the roofwork And throw.
It should look like this and is easily reproducable if needed: Moving on with the smokes for A, we have one for the CTs who are in A site, but want to smoke off middle without exposing themselves.
This is wehre you will have to stand: Just tuck yourself into the corner of these barrels and this crate inside the bombspot aim at his paticular beam of the roof and rest your crosshair between the shingles: The smoke drops into place blocking off mid: If you need to do the same thing, namely covering mid with the help of a smoky grenade, then I've got one for you.
There is a tree on long A and you will have to walk to it's library-facing side as described in this picture: Press against the tree until you do not move anymore And position your crosshair on these leaves at the top of them: Result is not as pretty but it works: Next smoke will take care of mid (Long side): Jump up to the little balcony in second mid and take this position at the outer pole of the balcony facing towards mid: Aim at this pointy thing next to the flower pot: Throw it and voilà: The last one may not have been the most impressive one.
But for something a tad fancier, you can smoke short in a way so that someone in Pit will not be able to spot or shot you while taking control of Short.
Here is how it works.
Take the same position as the smoke before: But this time, stare to the end of the left black line on the roof above you: This is how it will look like: The next smoke is right for use if it is especially hard to push onto A site because of someone always standing long or library.
This one will allow you to gain smooth access to the bombspot.

Agressive CT-Smokes

For the last two smokes in this guide, we have some that supports a push either into second mid or into mid.
This can be very usefull on eco/half-eco rounds or simply to catch your enemy by surprise.
First, we take a look at the smoke to block off mid (it will allow you to run into second mid without being seen).
Go into the corner in graveyard (as shown in the picture), all the way to the wall.
Aim at the lamp and move your crosshair to the left corner and left-click-throw.
It will land in mid and has, if executed well, no gaps: The last smoke is thrown from top mid and denies visibility from second mid when you push into mid.
Run to the first pillar on top mid and tuck yourself into the corner.
Just center your crosshair on the corner of the roof (picture) and left-click-throw.
The result is the following: Be aware of enemies potentionally sitting on second mid balcony.
