Step 1 CHANGE YOUR GAME SETTINGS
Step 1: In Game Settings
Now most of this may seem obvious, but for the love of gabeN CHANGE YOUR VISUAL SETTINGS.
For my screenshots, I run these visual settings[i.
com] (yes motion blur, see why down below), for the best screenshots possible in CS:GO.
You can increase shadow quality if the shadows in the background look weird, but it can make finding a spot to take your screenshots harder.
Step 2: Map Choice Most maps can work as screenshot maps (Yes even Valve Maps).
All you need is to find spots with good lighting, and have a good lighting style.
Most maps have cool or natural lighting, but some are warm.
Find which style and light works for your item.
Step 3: Setting up the game So after you have changed your video settings and picked your map, its time to start up a game.
Simply hit "Play Offline with Bots", pick your map, and go!
But Tomtris/Wazowski! There are bots running around! And the round is too short! And the inspect is really hard to get a picture of!
When taking screenshots, I start off imputing this code into the console:
With this, every bot will be kicked, cheats will be enabled, hud disabled, you will be able to buy anywhere, at any time, and the rounds will last 60 minutes.
Now, we are going to want to create 3 Keybinds.
Pick some keys that you never use for CS (hopefully close together, and enter this into your console
bind replacethistextwithakeybind “mat_proxy 1”
bind replacethistextwithakeybind “host_timescale 1”
bind replacethistextwithakeybind “host_timecale .
Step 4: Taking the screenshot
So finally after all that set up, we are ready to take a screenshot.
Now with your mat_proxy bind, go into the game, shake around real fast, and hit the bind.
This will give you constant motion blur on everything EXCEPT your knife.
Once you are all blurred, find a good spot, and use your host timescale binds, to slow and speed up the game to help get those perfect shots.
When you think you've taken enough, right click on CS;GO, press view screenshots and hit "View on Disk".
View the images, and once you find the ones you like, upload and show them to the world!
